GroupBuy Privacy Policy

What we collect

Your name, email address, mobile number and the car preferences you give when you join a group (model, variant, colour, buying timeline, payment mode, whether you have a car to exchange). Your mobile number is collected so the dealer can contact you after you accept an offer and so we can reach you; we do not verify it by OTP. We also keep records of the consent you give, with a timestamp.

Why we use it

To run the group, tell you about its progress, collect dealer offers, and issue your deal code. We email you important updates; promotional emails are sent only if you opt in, and each has an unsubscribe link.

Who sees it

While we collect quotations, dealers are told only an anonymous summary of the group (how many buyers, which models). Your name, phone and email may be shared with a dealer only after you accept that dealer's offer, so they can serve your purchase. MotoDecode earns a referral fee from the dealer when a car is delivered; you pay nothing extra.

Your choices

You can leave a group before accepting an offer, and you can delete your account from your dashboard. Deleting removes your name, phone and email. Records needed for completed bookings and accounting are kept without your personal details where possible.
