Our services are currently offered in India and personal information is primarily processed in India.

By using the Platform or providing information, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy, our Terms and Conditions, and the policies applicable to the service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform or provide personal information.

2. Information we collect

• Contact details such as your name, email address, and mobile number.
• Car-buying requirements such as budget, location, family size, driving usage, fuel preference, mileage expectations, safety priorities, car-type preference, and notes you choose to provide.
• Consultation booking and transaction information such as booking status, payment reference, amount, and transaction time. Payment credentials are processed by the authorised payment gateway and are not stored by MotoDecode.
• Technical and usage information such as browser type, device type, IP address, pages visited, referral source, cookies, and analytics events.
• Communications sent through email, phone, WhatsApp, website forms, or customer-support channels.

3. How we use information

• Provide personalised car recommendations, consultancy services, booking confirmation, support, and requested communication.
• Process and reconcile payments, investigate failed or duplicate transactions, prevent fraud, and resolve disputes.
• Understand customer requirements and improve our tools, website performance, content, and service quality.
• Send service updates and, where permitted, relevant marketing communication. You may opt out of promotional communication.

4. Sharing and payment processing

We share information only where reasonably necessary with contracted service providers such as payment gateways, hosting providers, analytics providers, email or messaging services, and professional advisers. These providers process information for their contracted purpose and under their applicable legal and security obligations.

Never share a UPI PIN, OTP, card PIN, CVV, net-banking password, or mobile-banking password with MotoDecode by phone, email, WhatsApp, or any other channel.

6. Data deletion and retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably required to provide the service, reconcile payments, handle support, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, meet accounting requirements, or comply with applicable law. Information may then be deleted or anonymised. A deletion request may be delayed where records are required for a pending complaint, payment dispute, legal obligation, or fraud-prevention purpose.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, updating of, deletion of, or restriction concerning your personal information. You may also opt out of promotional communications and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

8. Consent and withdrawal
