1. Acceptance and updates
This document is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules. By accessing www.motodecode.com, submitting information, making a payment, or using a MotoDecode service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, Refund and Cancellation Policy, and Shipping and Delivery Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the website or purchase our services. We may update these terms when our services or legal obligations change. The effective date displayed on this page identifies the latest version.
2. Service and product details
MotoDecode provides a paid digital car-buying consultation for a one-time price of ₹199. The service includes review of the customer’s stated budget, location, family needs, usage, fuel preference, mileage expectations, safety priorities, and other requirements, followed by independent car-buying guidance or personalised recommendations.
After successful payment and receipt of complete booking details, our team aims to make its initial response within 4 hours during operating hours. The consultation and related information may be delivered by phone, email, WhatsApp, video call, or another digital method agreed with the customer. Digital consultation services do not require physical shipment.
Free recommendation tools, the EMI calculator, automotive news, and MotoMantra content are informational services and do not form part of the paid consultation unless explicitly stated before payment.
3. User responsibilities
- Provide true, accurate, current, and complete contact, vehicle, budget, usage, and payment information.
- Remain reachable through the phone number or email supplied and attend any consultation scheduled by mutual agreement.
- Independently verify the final vehicle, variant, on-road price, features, safety rating, warranty, availability, and seller terms before making a vehicle purchase.
- Review the service description, total amount, refund terms, and submitted booking information before confirming payment.
- Keep transaction references and confirmation messages required to investigate a failed, duplicate, or disputed payment.
4. Payment terms
The consultation fee is ₹199 as displayed before booking. It is a one-time payment and is not a subscription or recurring charge. Any applicable tax or additional charge will be disclosed before payment. The digital consultation has no product-delivery or shipping charge.
Payments may be processed by an authorised third-party payment gateway. A booking is confirmed only after successful payment confirmation and receipt of complete consultation details. The payment gateway may process payment information under its own terms and privacy policy.
Failed, pending, duplicated, reversed, cancellation, and refund requests are handled under our Refund and Cancellation Policy at https://www.motodecode.com/refund-and-cancellation-policy. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method according to that policy.
MotoDecode will never ask a customer to disclose a UPI PIN, card PIN, CVV, net-banking password, or OTP by phone, email, or message.
5. Usage restrictions
- Do not use the website or services for an unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, misleading, or prohibited purpose.
- Do not attempt to interfere with the website, bypass security, introduce malicious code, obtain unauthorised access, or misuse another person’s information.
- Do not scrape, copy, republish, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit website content or consultation materials without written permission.
- Do not impersonate another person, submit fraudulent payment information, or use the service in a manner that infringes another party’s rights.
6. Intellectual property ownership
The MotoDecode name, branding, website design, software, written content, graphics, recommendation methodology, consultation materials, and reports are owned by or licensed to MotoDecode and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Purchasing a consultation gives the customer a limited right to use the delivered recommendation for personal decision-making. It does not transfer ownership or permit commercial reproduction, publication, resale, or redistribution.
7. Information disclaimer
MotoDecode recommendations are based on information supplied by the customer and automotive information reasonably available at the time. Vehicle prices, variants, features, availability, taxes, incentives, safety results, finance offers, and regulations can change.
Our guidance does not replace a test drive, physical inspection, verification with the manufacturer or authorised seller, insurance advice, financial advice, or legal advice. The customer remains responsible for the final vehicle and purchase decision.
8. Limitations of liability
Services are provided with reasonable care, but MotoDecode does not guarantee that every item of third-party automotive information will remain complete, current, or error-free, or that a recommended vehicle will satisfy every subjective preference.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MotoDecode is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, dealership conduct, manufacturer changes, financing decisions, or a vehicle purchase made without independent verification. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits a customer’s mandatory consumer rights.
Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events reasonably outside its control, including payment-network, telecom, internet, government, or force-majeure events.
9. Complaints and dispute resolution procedure
- Step 1 — Contact MotoDecode at motodecodeinfo@gmail.com or +91 97408 94949 with your registered contact details, transaction reference, and a clear description of the issue.
- Step 2 — We will acknowledge the complaint and review the booking, communication, service-delivery, and payment records. We may request reasonable supporting information needed to investigate it.
- Step 3 — Both parties will first attempt to resolve the complaint in good faith through written communication or a call. Refund matters will be assessed under the published Refund and Cancellation Policy.
- Step 4 — If the complaint remains unresolved, either party may pursue remedies available under applicable Indian law. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the competent courts in Karnataka, India, unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
10. Third-party links and indemnity
The website may link to third-party websites for convenience. MotoDecode does not control their availability, content, security, terms, or privacy practices.
You agree to indemnify MotoDecode and its representatives against third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the Platform, breach of these terms, fraud, or infringement of another person’s rights.
