2026 Maruti Brezza: What's New?

The updated Brezza was launched in India in July 2026 with four main trim levels:

1.5L K15C Petrol

Buyers wanting smoother and more relaxed performance can choose the familiar 1.5-litre naturally aspirated K15C petrol engine.

For 2026, Maruti offers it with:

6-speed Torque Converter Automatic

depending on the variant.

S-CNG

The Brezza continues with a factory-fitted CNG option.

More importantly, the 2026 model uses an underbody CNG installation, helping preserve usable luggage space compared with traditional CNG cars where the cylinder occupies much of the boot.

Dual-tone versions of certain higher variants cost slightly more. For example, Maruti's official price page currently lists the ZXi AT Dual Tone at ₹12.005 lakh and ZXi+ AT Dual Tone at ₹13.705 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. Prices are effective from 24 July 2026 and can change at the time of invoicing.

Maruti Brezza LXi – The Budget Variant

The LXi is aimed at buyers who want the Brezza's fundamental strengths without paying for premium gadgets.

And in 2026, the LXi becomes far more interesting because it can be bought with the new turbo engine.

Brezza LXi Turbo

Price: Around ₹7.40 lakh ex-showroom

This is currently the cheapest route into the new Brezza.

You still get important safety essentials such as:

What's missing?

You sacrifice several convenience and premium features available higher up the range.

Expect relatively basic wheels, simpler lighting and fewer infotainment and comfort features.

Best for: Budget-conscious buyers who care more about engine, safety and space than gadgets.

The LXi Turbo is actually one of the most interesting Brezzas in the entire range.

Why?

Because for around ₹7.40 lakh ex-showroom, you get the 110 PS turbo engine while retaining the Brezza's basic practicality.

If you're comfortable installing selected accessories later, this could be a very clever purchase.

Maruti Brezza VXi – The Value-for-Money Variant

If LXi is the sensible budget option, VXi is where the Brezza starts feeling like a complete everyday car.

VXi 1.5 Petrol

This is better suited to buyers who prefer smoothness, predictable power delivery and relaxed family use over turbo punch.

VXi Automatic

Approx. ₹10.61 lakh

This is where the automatic Brezza starts.

It combines the 1.5-litre petrol engine with a torque-converter automatic transmission.

VXi CNG

Approx. ₹9.99 lakh

For buyers with high monthly running, this could make a lot of sense.

The underbody CNG layout is particularly important because it reduces one of the traditional disadvantages of buying a CNG SUV — losing a huge portion of the luggage compartment.

Best for: Most private buyers.

This is probably the sweet spot of the Brezza range.

Brezza ZXi+ Automatic

The dual-tone version goes to approximately ₹13.71 lakh ex-showroom Delhi.

But there is a catch.

Once a Brezza approaches ₹14 lakh ex-showroom, the buyer suddenly has a much larger choice of SUVs.
